FOLLOWING IN CHRIST'S STEPS

DECEMBER 5, 2011
JESUS LEADS,
When Jesus died on the cross for us, He commended His spirit into the care of the Father.
Luke 23:46
(46) And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

WE FOLLOW,
When we die on the cross with Christ, we commend our lives into the care of the Holy Spirit.
Galatians 5:24-25
(24) And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
(25) If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
