THE BIBLE, A MIRACULOUS COMMUNICATION
How
do you approach the Bible? SOME people read the Bible simply as a
source of ancient wisdom, searching for golden words that will make
them successful in the various arenas of life (marriage, parenting,
economics, morality). The Bible does address these subjects. HOWEVER,
the Christian reads the Bible as the living and life giving word of
God. The Bible not only gives right answers, it produces a right
spiritual condition, a right relationship with God, a right view of
life. The Bible is our food and drink, it is fire and water, it is
hammer and scalpel. Consume the word of God and let it do its
miraculous work.
